Vegetable Lovers:

Vegetables are a large part of my diet, and since I try to avoid most canned goods, I either use fresh or organic frozen. You can find either at Red Clover Market.

Don't be fooled by the frozen broccoli florets as they are just as good and as tasty as the fresh. I love using these organic frozen vegetables in the winter when the fresh are sometimes not as tasty.

The Parmesan cheese added to this vegetable dish adds a nice flavor and a golden brown breading when fried up. And, of course make sure you use good oil. Olive oil is the best, but there are other good oils on the shelves such as Canola.
1 package broccoli florets
1 egg beaten
2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Add your fresh or frozen broccoli florets in a large mixing bowl. Beat the egg well and pour over your broccoli florets. Once the florets are covered well with the egg, add the Parmesan cheese and mix well. The egg is a stabalizer to help adhere the Parmesan cheese to the florets.

Add olive oil to a large skillet and heat enough to add your broccoli florets. Add the florets to the skillet and fry until florets are tender and Parmesan cheese has turned a light golden brown.
